The Dutch Lions squad celebrates the opener by Bret Jones in the 9th minute to put the Dutch Lions up 1-0, on the way to a 4-1 victory.

4/21/2010: Video Highlights: 90 Minutes In 9- Dayton Dutch Lions v. Xavier University

Here is some video footage of the Dayton Dutch Lions 1-1 preseason scrimmage tie with Xavier University. The quality of the video could be better because all I had available was my flip video camera, but you still get the idea. The quality will improve for the next scrimmage video for the game next Tuesday against Cincinnati as we'll get our USL video kit in by then.

The up close footage near the end was all footage from the 3rd, 30 minute half when I felt the Dayton Dutch Lions picked it up a notch. The Dutch Lions had most of the possession for the entire game, but seemed to knock it around without any direction in the final third. Finally, near the end, in the final 30 minutes it seemed the Dutch Lions had more purpose to their play:
